Datazoom is designed for flexibility, extensibility and scalability to support the unique data collection, standardization and routing needs for the streaming video industry. Datazoom is building towards collection, standardization and routing services to address the variety of data structures, data nomenclatures, and data expressions found across telemetry data from End-to-End data pipeline (Video Players, Origins, CDNs, and backend services like Encoding, Transcoding, and Packaging). The platform consists of Collectors that bring data in, Connectors that deliver data out, and Data Pipes that determine which of the collected data points from each Collector should go to which Connector. The platform allows you to have many Data Pipes, and captures the unique set of data requirements once across all pipelines for increased efficiency.
