About Operations

This primary level of the datatecture represents technologies which provide data or services critical to the operation of the streaming platform such as analytics and monitoring. For some streaming providers, most of operations might be organized into a single business unit. But for many, although there is a centralized operations unit, many other business units also include operational functions. For example, product management may be responsible for certain analytics while DevOps may own others.
