Many of the components within the streaming technology stack require configuration. For example, database systems need to be managed across local and cloud instances which is further complicated by the use of multiple types of databases. But configuration management can also relate more closely to operational needs, such as Multi-CDN systems which dictate how traffic should be delivered across different networks according to pre-defined parameters and other data.
